Impact of Maternal Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Gene Polymorphisms on Spontaneous Preterm Birth (Egyptian Case-Control Study)

چکیده
Diverse effects of Ba^(2+) and Co^(2+) on fura-2 fluorescence ratio signals (FR, F350/F380) were examined in cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAECs). ATP (3 ?M) induced FR oscillations normal Ca^(2+)-containing solutions. Co^(2+), but not Ba^(2+), inhibited ATP-induced oscillations. In Ca^(2+)-free solutions, 3 ?M only elicited a single transient. When replaced Ca^(2+) the perfusate, provoked distinct The maximal rate rise signal was greater than seen without increased maintained to high steady level. external by transient oscillated with long recovery time constant. survey at excitation wavelength 350 nm (F350), decreased intensity presence Ca^(2+). however, F350 as well, especially results suggest that fluctuation is balanced release from internal stores influx Ba2+ seems be permeable through channels competes for dye. blocks does inhibit ATP-mediated cells.

Objective: The role of vitamin D has soared to a pinnacle in recent years with functions affecting 229 human genes linked to cardiovascular, autoimmune, humoral, pulmonary and neurological diseases. Relationship between obesity and vitamin D has not as yet been fully established. The objective of the study was to determine the possible relationship between Vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene polymorp...

متن کاملInfluence of Vitamin D Receptor Gene Polymorphisms on Response to Pegylated Interferon in Chronic Hepatitis B Egyptian Patients
Background: We explored the effect of vitamin D receptor gene (VDR) polymorphisms in response to PEG-IFN treatment in Egyptian chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. Methods: Two hundred hepatitis B virus (HBV) patients (42.3±10.7 years) on PEG-IFN α-2a (180 μg /kg for 48 weeks) and one hundred control subjects (37.3 ±12 years) were enrolled in the study. Vitamin D levels a...
